Schnyder, a man the Financial Times called a maverick, who believed that knowledge shared is knowledge multiplied.<\/p>\n<p>We started in Sarawak \u2014 one of Malaysia&#8217;s most underserved regions \u2014 because we believed the children there deserved the same quality of education as children anywhere in the world. That belief has not changed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Credentials<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our curriculum is aligned with <a href=\"https:\/\/csteachers.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CSTA \u2014 Computer Science Teachers Association<\/strong><\/a> standards, the global benchmark for quality computer science education used by leading schools worldwide. Children don&#8217;t simply complete activities \u2014 they earn each level through knowledge verification.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud to serve as a <a href=\"https:\/\/code.org\/en-US\/about\/partners\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Code.org International Partner<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 part of a global network dedicated to bringing world-class computer science education to every child, everywhere.<\/p>\n<p><em>Sarawak heart. Global standard.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><div class='flex_column av-7k4ey-ac06db6339cfcff5965d85f487fe0823 av_one_half  avia-builder-el-5  el_after_av_one_half  avia-builder-el-last  flex_column_div '   ><section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>What Happens on the Ground<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2025, over <strong>7,500 children<\/strong> across Sarawak received structured computer science education through KIDS: Bits &amp; Bytes. Among them: more than <strong>700 six-year-olds<\/strong> in 80 SeDilik government preschools serving Malaysia&#8217;s most underserved families \u2014 learning to code and think computationally before they turn seven.<\/p>\n<p>We trained government trainers from KPWK Sarawak so the programme continues to grow from within. The teachers stay. The knowledge stays. The children move forward.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2025, Malaysia&#8217;s Ministry of Education \u2014 through its Educational Resources &amp; Technology Division (BSTP) \u2014 invited PKRS to co-design the national <strong>AI-Powered Classroom Pilot Project<\/strong>. The government came to us.
